Small Person Far Away (UK)
Small Person Far Away (UK) | Judith Kerr
5 posts | 3 read | 1 to read
Berlin is where Anna lived before Hitler, when she was still a German child; before she spoke a word of English, before her family had all become refugees. Long before her happy new existence in London. But Mama is there, dangerously ill. Anna is forced to go back, to deal with questions of life and death, to face old fears, and to discover the past which she has so long shut away.

Has anybody read the third book of the “Pink-Pabbit”-trilogy❓My library doesn‘t have it in stock and the Litsy database-entry is empty.

My copy of “The other Way round” has an extract of “A small Person far away” included, but I am reluctant to read it since I know I won‘t get the full story.

It would be nice if someone could tell me roughly how it ends and what will happen to Max and Anna.

I am the only person in this room to whom such things have happened. I don‘t want to be.

I‘m alive, she thought. Whatever happens, I am still alive.

Mothers worrying about their children, that‘s nothing, they‘re used to it. But the other way round is always bad.
