This was more of a novella than a novel, but I think it‘s only the second lesbian historical romance I‘ve read and it was quite sweet. Also had some very steamy scenes. Set in the 20s. One English girl and one American, brought together by their father‘s shared business interests, trying to navigate their way into a personal relationship without flouting convention overly much.

OMG an historical lesbian romance novel that didn‘t make me want to bang my head against a wall! Actual characters and feelings! A slow burn that paid off!Sexy sex that was neither too vague nor too graphic! And it‘s not just a quick novella. The author is bi and really delivered for me. I got this free through the Kindle lending library and it‘s on KU too. Yay #queer #romantsy books!!!
