Arthur, Clean Your Room, by Marc Brown, is a silly and short RF read for young students. It tells the story of Arthur, who decides to have a garage sale but ends up trading everything and ending with the same amount of stuff in his room. The UDL is provide options for physical action (4) by letting the students perform this as a Readers Theatre, which would be fun for the students.

jmartucci ESOL strategy 18, using directions that involve student actions as in Total Physical Response,
would work in regards to acting out the story. This website has a variety of math problems involving Arthur and his friends if we wanted to involve math. https://www.pinterest.com/pin/161707442851289850/

Kendylleonard I‘m not sure if kids today still watch Arthur, but if they knew this character, it would be even more of a reason to have this book in our classroom library. They could make the connection between this at-home character, and seeing him in school! I also love that your resource encompasses math! 5y
DrSpalding Hmmmmm... not RF. Look at the front cover. If you only heard the story and did not see the images, you would think it was realistic fiction however animals don‘t wear clothes and talk… What genre is it? 5y
