This was good but not great. Gillian was a little a annoying, and the entire arc with her cheating boyfriend was unnecessary, but Vivian's and April's stories were pretty interesting. Soft pick.

I have said it before and I will say it again, I love historical fiction (especially world war 2 fiction) and this one ranks in the top five for sure!! An excellent story that will keep you reading and let everything else fall to the wayside!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Another WWII story... at times predictable, but done well. I do like a story that is set both in present day and in the past. And of course spy stories are generally full of adventure.

I just learned, thanks to Litsy, that we get two free Amazon Prime books in July. Only one day left so I grabbed this one as my second pick. Hurry if you haven‘t picked your second free book! Thanks fellow Littens!

This month, Amazon is letting you pick out two free books for first reads. These are my two choices. The tagged book is about a woman who finds a picture of her grandmother in the arms of a Nazi and sets out to find out the story behind it. My second choice is a 1920's murder mystery where the main character's inheritance is at stake.
