Recommended for those who enjoyed (if one can “enjoy“ books on such a serious topic) When Breath Becomes Air and The Emperor of All Maladies. Dr. Raza is an oncologist specializing in myelodysplastic syndromes and acute myeloid leukemia, and her professional and personal experience is brought to bear here with authority and candour. The writing is a bit on the technical side but worth reading!
