I‘m 18 months late for the Apollo anniversary — I‘m suddenly interested in early space programs and the Space Race. I‘m taking a deep dive this year: Sputnik until the end of the Apollo missions (1972).

Tagged book was my first: much interesting info. Armstrong took fragments of the Wright Brothers‘ plane. Aldrin took a vial of wine for Communion between the landing and the moonwalk.
