July reads read. Of the books by Oyeyemi I enjoyed What is Not Yours best. I found the writing more fluid and consistent. Perhaps the confusion I felt in the Grandmother/mother/daughter characters in Gingerbread was deliberate and revealing of how the stages overlap perspectives🤷🏻‍♀️I‘m curious how her other works will compare.

I grew up with a daily dose of TOS camaraderie. It‘s nice to have it back to slip into now and again.
