pickThis is such an important graphic novel that depicts the horror & injustice of the Japanese forced incarnation/ internment camps, as well as the current racist hysteria & xenophobic policies reawakened by Trump. The subject & facts were presented in such a way that brought the history to life, compared it to present day racist policies, & the illustrations were not only beautiful, but extra powerful as well. It belongs in libraries & classrooms.
