This author knows how to spin a romantic tale. There are a couple of plot holes you could drive a truck through, but I love her writing so much I‘ll forgive this.

Annique is a French #spy known as the Fox Cub & Grey is a British intelligence section chief. Many on both sides either want Annique dead or the secrets in her head. There are a couple of plot points which seem implausible medically. Overall this is a fast paced entertaining read heavy on action & plot & lighter on the #romantsy. 💙💙💙💙

I‘ve started my next audiobook. I was going to read Beauty Like the Night, which is the latest release, but I like to read series in order, so I started at the beginning! I was surprised at first that the narrator did not have a British accent, but the heroine is French and she moves between the various accents well. I‘m really liking it so far. #romantsy #historical #audiobook.

I purchased this anthology last night because it's only 0.99usd for several stories and it has a Joanna Bourne in it. Love her books! 💖
