#WyrdAndWonder day 5 | I can do this all day

Fantasy is full of underdogs and hopeless battles, but I want to focus on the final volume of the Godblind trilogy by Anna Stephens. What do you do when you‘ve lost the war? Keep fucking fighting. This isn‘t my cup of tea at all, but I loved too many characters not to stick with it to the bloody end.

Pickpick

A satisfying end to the journey - bravo to Anna Stephens for winning me to her cause in spite of my lack of enthusiasm for grimdark. This is very grim, and very dark, but it also lights a lot of candles and gave me some unforgettable characters to care about. Expect me to see me reference Gilda regularly for years.
