Eyes of a Runner
Eyes of a Runner | Skyler D'Vincent
Fed up with the authority governing her world, Sarina has elected to take matters into her own hands. Deciding that the best course of action is violent revolution, Sarina takes a stand against the Urban Defense Agency. Her fight for freedom gains the attention of a rival smuggling gang, who offers their support to her, and outside of the city is an anarchist militia group with the same goals in mind. As she dives deeper into revolting, Sarina gains the aid of former Urban Defense child-soldiers, who choose to act as her bodyguards against the UDA. With the encouragement of multiple groups, Sarina sets out to become the hero of New York City and liberate the country from its dystopian shackles. Her war escalates, presenting new questions about morality, peace, and the fine lines separating just causes from unnecessary destruction. Sarina pushes herself through the physical and mental trauma that constantly bear down on her, and becomes more determined to defeat her enemies with every passing day. The road to heroism is paved with pain and struggle, but Sarina knows that her peace will only be gained through one of two ends: Self-Achievement or Death.
