Another solid historical outing from Neal Bascomb. I knew Germany was close to creating an atomic bomb, I just didn‘t realize how close and how many times the Allies had to employee this ragtag unit from Norway thwart the German program. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5

Grabbing another quick non-fiction read with Neal Bascomb.
What I have read today is the plot of the story, When the Allies discover the plans for the bomb, they agree Vemork needs to be destroyed. But after a British operation fails to stop the Nazis' deadly designs, the assignment falls to a band of passionate Norwegian commandos
This book really caught my eye when I was looking at some Neal Bascomb books
