Book Nr 9 off my #BookSpinBingo board
Cuba - a special place with its own vibe and charisma. Gala tells us his story from the view points of different characters, all of them connected by fate, poverty and the Black Cathedral.
This was a wow for me. The only thing I was missing was that the characters could've spoken more differently from each other. They all sounded a bit the same.

The alternating perspectives remind me of a confessional. None of the characters are objective or reliable in their narration. I had a blast with the Spanish, so different from what I‘m used to. Also, not very PC by modern US standards.

I shouldn‘t take so long between reading & posting as I forget my thoughts.

Thanks to corona, my eldest, who is home from college & bored, built this inspired structure from magnetic plates.
This book is told from a number of different perspectives, and it‘s gross and violent and very good
I love the cover of this book and just realized I can use Libby on desktop for ease of reading, and to give my phone a much needed break.
