And somehow her daughter is going to be thin. When her mother sweeps her off to live in the city, Carmen finds her old world disappearing. With everything to gain and absolutely nothing to lose. Carmen starts to ask: if she was thin, very thin, could it all be different? Mehso-so

This book wanted to tell a story about a girl developing an eating disorder, which it did, but not in a very good way. It went from eating disorder/ serious stuff to school girl drama/ bullying. There were parts that were filled with sex in a book that is supposed to deal with a serious issue! Also, the ending didn't feel complete. There were good parts though, so it's worth a shot, but if you want a book that focusing on eds, this isn't it.

Picked this book up based on a recommendation but it disappoints. I felt the whole story was a little extreme and it ends without actually dealing with any of the issues in any sort of realistic manner.
