pick479 p. Very touching friendship formed during and after war times coloured by some tragic romance. Reflects nicely on what a traumatic experience war is. I think the only people who can appreciate each living moment without rushing into the future are the ones who've seen the death from up close.

pickI thought I understood the depth of friendship but oohwheee does this book define it flawlessly. A story of a man, the woman he loves, and the friends that will go above and beyond for each other
pickBetween a So-So and a Pick. I would've liked it, if Remarque concentrated more on the three comrades, instead of the love story. Otherwise again a beautiful amd meaningful book.

Yay! Managed to read 200 pages today and only took a 1 1/2 hour nap 🙈 still 250 pages to go. I hope to finish it in the next three days. 🤓
