In case anyone has any spare brain capacity, some of the indie presses that specialise in translated fiction are setting up an online bookclub. They promise to only choose short, non-bleak books (they‘ve obviously been wading through #BookerInternational2020 as well).
Details here, hopefully. Blurb in comments in case it doesn‘t work! https://mailchi.mp/7425d62874a8/book-club-book-club?e=80a23e9051
rockpools “Translated Fiction Online Book Club! We all publish translated fiction from various corners of the world, and we wanted to create an online space to read together and help us – and you – feel a little bit more connected. Each week, a different press will take over to discuss one of their books. An ambitious schedule? Don't worry! Our featured books are short, interesting, and not bleak. Read with us!†(edited) 5y

Kammbia1 This sounds very interesting. I had come across The Mussel Feast a few months ago and put it on my list to read. I might join in the book club to read that one. 5y
