I started getting these ads in my FB news feed and this paragraph caught my eye. I did the research and I'm even more disgusted. My advice: if you are unhappy with public education: volunteer. Public education needs to be free and accessible. Teachers are doing great, but we are exhausted. If this nearly political post offend you, I can't help it. I feel like the freedom to learn is under attack.

sprainedbrain Ok I just looked that up and I‘m disgusted. How do these people think what they are doing is not brainwashing, while trying to suggest that public education is? Omfg. Thank you so much for valuing education and teaching our children! 2y
mandarchy @sprainedbrain I was just reading the comments on Facebook with the ads. I feel like I'm at war to keep education free and it's escalating. 2y
lauraisntwilder Oh, thank God. When I first saw the tagged book, I thought I was going to have to unfollow someone. Instead, I can say THANK YOU for all you do!! 2y
mandarchy @phyhill phew! I can only wonder who has already unfollowed me for my unapologetic liberal ways. The company has offered to donate their books to libraries and I wrote asking if they would pay an additional $2 per book for processing or should tax payers cover that. They haven't answered my question. 2y
