I have read only one Ms. Marple (Murder at the Vicarage) & although my personal preference is for Poirot, this delightful little volume demonstrates Dame Agatha didn't give all of her best lines to the Belgian with the gray matter:
*I always believe the worst. What is so sad is that one is usually justified in doing so.
*To commit a successful murder must be very much like bringing off a conjuring trick.
*Life is really a One Way Street, isn't it?
