Last of Her Name | 
pickRead this collection for a strong authorial voice. She's an outstanding writer and the sentences are beautiful. The stories range widely in place and character. My faves were the novella, about an older homeless woman who finds an unconventional living situation, and the shortest, about a man gravely injured in a car accident. I'm glad I picked it up.
