This book is about a girl who has worked very hard to survive the Holocaust, been separated from her parents multiple time and have had to move around a bunch to keep safe. If you like learning about WWll and the Holocaust then you will like this book.

Elizabeth.Spiess One Theme that this book shows is a sense of unity and the importance of family through hard times. This is displayed by the time the family had to leave everything they owned and get on a ship to escape to safety. 3y
