What a fascinating and enjoyable - and maddening! Why did so many scientists miss so many other scientists‘ work? How does the Nobel Prize work? Etc. - she addresses all of this and much more. - book. I listened to podcasts of author interviews as well, very useful. 4.5⭐️ #science #astrophysics #cosmology

In this manuscript, dated 1931, Einstein explores a model in which the mean density of the universe is held fixed by some process that continually generates matter from empty space. I went on a bit of a science audiobook buying spree, and this is the first of them. Clearly just starting it. I have blown the minds of our German host by telling her how fast I listen to audiobooks - Hörbücher as they‘re called here. (I listened to the Gabrielle Union memoir at 1.75, but I don‘t think I can do a #science book quite so quickly!) Hurray for Libro.fm so that I don‘t have to give Amaz0n any more money!
