I needed a change of pace from other recent reads. This audiobook offered standard Quick characters and plot. It hit the right easy notes. It is a challenge for a single narrator to voice a variety of characters. Of course, I probably shouldn‘t listen at 2x speed then! A woman with a terrible secret and a wealthy man of the nobility thrown together to solve a murder and only The River Knows. Escapist fun and 3 of 4 āļø¸ for this soft pick.
