The two driving topics here (missing Native American women and #NorthDakota oil fields) are of particular interest to me, and few books tell either story. Darn, I wish the characters were more compelling so I could strongly recommend the first post of this book.
On the other hand, I‘ve read at least one book across all 50 states and DC for #ReadTheUSA202O. NY leads with over 15 books so far this year, followed by Massachusetts , then Montana.

marleed @wanderinglynn Oh thank you! Two of my favorite were from Washington state: On the Corner of Bitter & Sweet and The Boys in the Boat. Also, both were already on my own physical shelf - one rule was to read from my own damn shelf whenever possible! 5y
