Ruso and the Root of All Evils | 
pickRuso is summoned back to the family home only to find a lawsuit which could ruin the family is about to be launched by a creditor. The creditor is then poisoned while visiting Ruso's family. Ruso is of course the main suspect.
The first time I read this I found it dragged in places, but this time round it was quite suspenseful, and in places very funny as Ruso flails about trying to cope with his exasperating family.
