Prejudices, prejudices everywhere‼️😱 Reading this book in plain language wasn‘t as strenuous as I expected. On the contrary, it read very comfortable and fluent. I feel, like I learned more from this abbreviated version than from the original diary I read years ago.

In my eyes it‘s a bit of a pity, that the included photographs are so small and tiny, that they blurr when you zoom in.

See the online museum instead: https://bit.ly/2MkSQIl 💜

Well, did I say yesterday, that I don‘t know if 80 pages of plain language is something I want to read❓ Maybe it‘s time to read this book for completely different reasons. How could I forget that Anne Frank lived in Frankfurt am Main❓ Seriously, I read her diary, even if it‘s decades ago, but I completely forgot where that all took place. 😯 For me, she was always kind of attached to Amsterdam. 🙈

kspenmoll Me too! Good reminder.. 4y
Buechersuechtling @kspenmoll My connection to Amsterdam wasn‘t completely wrong because the family fled from Germany to The Netherlands and it was in Amsterdam that they hid behind this cupboard. (edited) 4y

Okay, this is very different from what I expected. I tried to download it on my e-reader yesterday and since there constantly occurred and error I was very frustrated but absolutely happy when it worked out today. I now learnt, that this is a book about Anne Frank in plain language.

I will definitely start it but I am honest, I am not sure if that 🇩🇪 „Die-Sendung-mit-der-Maus“-style is for me if it‘s in written.

But apart from that: Cool‼️

Great summary of Anne Frank is easy to read Dutch. Very touching and unforgettable story of a young Jewish girl in the wrong moment of history
