I read this book when I was younger and the horrors described really stuck with me; I would have given it a "pick", but for the fact it was later revealed to be a completely fraudulent story. If you're looking for a true Holocaust memoir, this is not one of them; however, if you do choose to read it and approach it as historical fiction, you may still get something out of it.
