Excited to get my signed copy of this book in the mail today after I attended the virtual Zoom event with the author this week through #rjjuliabooksellers. It was a great event and Ballard is a very inspirational person who has lead such an interesting life. In addition to finding the Titanic, he has conducted so much important research on alternative energy and food sources from the ocean. I‘m looking forward to reading this.

Today‘s #bookmail. I had the privilege of working with Ballard on a deep sea expedition in the late 90s and, needless to say, it was fascinating, exciting, and utterly unforgettable. As soon as I saw he was writing a memoir, I knew I had to read it. The arrival of another book in The Blackthorn Key series, a family favorite, is almost as exciting. Definitely excited to add these books to my TBR stacks!!!
