#Bookmail to brighten my afternoon! Can‘t wait to try another pick from Handheld Press. Marjorie Grant was a Canadian novelist and reviewer. A close friend of Rose Macaulay. This novel from 1921 is described as “powerful and moving… about the lives and choices of single women.” Sounds wonderful and I am so in love with this cover.

Monday #bookmail. Quite the subtitle on this one! Winner of the 2022 Pulitzer Prize for Fiction. I was somewhat disappointed that it didn‘t go to The Love Songs of W.E.B. Du Bois, but it is always kind of fun to see lesser known titles get some prize love. I‘ve not read Joshua Cohen before. Look forward to giving him a try.

EvieBee LOL what a title! I love it! 1d
sarahbarnes Yes! I thought the same thing when I heard it on NPR! 1d

A fun mix of genres in today‘s #bookmail—true crime, literary fiction, mystery, horror and a graphic novel! Can‘t wait to read them all.

EvieBee This one looks good! I‘ll have to check my library. Thanks for the heads up! 1w

jlhammar @Alfoster Awesome! I am down for some creepy goodness! 1w
jlhammar @EvieBee Doesn't it? I love that it is described as “a maternity leave mystery.“ Sounds like a lot of fun. Hope it is! 1w
