This is an elegantly and gently written memoir about the author‘s struggle with her hearing. She is deaf in one ear and has been since birth. And her family conditions her not to tell anyone or to ask for help. They do offer hearing aids but the technology and experience are 😳. Her journey through teens, college, first jobs is unique and well-told. Lots to learn ⬇️
