Usually, I turn away as soon as someone says “Coming of Age“. Usually, those book do not interest me. At all. But this book won the German Youth Literature Award, so I gave it a try.

And wow! This book really got me. I guess it's mostly because Robert Stadlober does just a good job reading the audio book. To me it felt like Stadlober was telling me his very own story.

So yes, trying something new every now and then is always a good idea.
