panI would have given this a pass as a slightly dumb, painfully slow burn monster romance without any word building if the description of the book wasn't 'an exploration of cultures, contemporary society and romance'
It did not do any of those things. It was about privileged vampires being out of touch and privileged whilst pinning.

pickThis was a fun new take on vampires, definitely a cozy, let‘s read books together, sexy vamps romance. I‘m interested in seeing where the overarching story is going. It looks like we are following the same couple in the next one - though this could stand alone if you wanted to stop at one. It‘s giving me, KJ Charles‘ “The Will Darling Adventures,” vibes. But more cozy and less suspicious of their partner‘s motivations.

Finished the alpha experiment yesterday and it was 😚🐺👨🔬 wonderful! I recommend the Mismatched Mates series by Eliot Grayson 1000%! Books 1/3/4 are my favorites! Haven't read book 6 yet but I will soon 😍 (each book follows a different main character).
