Its time for the monthly Winged Creature Clinic at Willows Whisper Veterinary Practice, where flying creatures from all over come to get treated. But when Glenn the Wildlife Warlock brings in an injured flying pig that looks like it may have been mistreated, panic strikes and a greater mystery unfolds. Its up to everyones favorite vet witches in training, Nan and Clarion, to keep everything under control at the chaotic clinic while Dr. Talon is away. The second volume of Hex Vet is still just as cute (and unfortunately short) as the first. Nan and Clarion find themselves up in the flying surgery to help Dr. Talon meet her clients in the air where they are more comfortable. Nan is stressed with news of her brother coming back and Clarion just wants to confront Nurse Ariel about what he said to her grandfather last volunteer day. IhoardBOOKS these apprentices find themselves in over their head yet again when a surprise visitor enters the flying surgery after Dr. Talon leaves to handle something else. This volume took on a bit darker tone from the first and hints at dangers to come but I don‘t know if we‘ll learn them, it has been awhile since volume 2 and not a peep on a volume 3 that I‘ve seen. 3y
