TEArificbooks Me too. Always had insomnia and my kids too. Lately though, I fall asleep easy but can‘t stay asleep. Hot flashes, tickles in my throat, sleep apnea etc. menopause really messes up my sleep patterns. 2d

CindyMyLifeIsLit @TEArificbooks I have sleep apnea, as well, so I do wake up several times during the night, but I have no trouble going back to sleep (knock on wood!). When you think about PMS, pregnancy, and menopause, it really makes you wonder why it seems necessary for our hormones to bedevil us for our ENTIRE lives?!? 😡🥵🙄 2d

#wdncw that we have a horrible cold & I‘ve totally taken advantage of reducing my parenting duties. When my kids were younger I‘d keep pushing through when I felt horrible. I felt like I needed to still do everything (not to mention my husband was in grad school or postdoc & working 50- 60 hours a week). In the last year or two I‘ve realized that I don‘t have to do everything when I‘m sick. I have a capable partner. Tonight I didn‘t cook dinner

We do not care that I pulled into my parking spot at work, then promptly locked my car from the driver‘s inside door-BIG OOPS -with my backpack,phone, & keys inside! Fortunately,a staff member was free to drive me home in hopes of convincing my husband that he could TRUST me with his car car key, even though I dropped his in the driveway a month ago & then ran right over it! 2 hours & $250 later I replaced it.He did give me his key. 🚗🔑

Karisa Very relatable…. 😬 Glad you had a way to retrieve a key. I left my car running in the staff parking lot (twice😅). Finally realized my air tag keychain was interfering with the lock fob‘s signal and starting the car. Thought I was losing my mind (also a possibility #wdnc)! 2d

We do not care that we have incessantly bitched about the weather more than once. We are so damn tired of this heat dome. We do not care that (again) it will be over 100ºF on the first day of fall. We'll just continue to live inside our air-conditioned house and hope that SOMEDAY we'll get to go outside again.

P.S. This native Phoenician is ready to get the hell out of dodge. If only she can convince her hubby. 🔥
