I would definitely read this to my future class when learning the ABC‘s. It‘s full of opportunities to link different letters to real words and meaning. The text on each page is short and sweet.

I love how this book spells out the alphabet with each sentence, and each sentence correlated with the letter being talked about. I like how the pictures portray the letters as “people.”
Librarians tip: please DO NOT tape a ripped page. Alert the library. Some libraries use special acid free tape, some use special glue, and some just replace the book. We ask you not to tape it at home because most tape that is not meant for books causes discoloration and even sometimes eats the paper.
