pickI can think of no higher praise for a history book than that it makes me want to know more about the man who built an empire. This was a short, quick read, and while it has the bones of historical record, it also notes that much of what is known about Keita and Mali comes from oral stories and there‘s little verifiable data. #readingafrica2022 #mali #hoopla
