Ms Draupadi Kuru: After the Pandavas
Ms Draupadi Kuru: After the Pandavas | Trisha Das
1 post | 1 read
Draupadi is bored of Heaven. Yes, it's beautiful and perfumed and perfect, but it's been a few thousand years of the same thing every day. There is only one way to escape: Krishna. He can never say no to her. So she gets her gang of women together - Amba, Kunti and frenemy Gandhari - and off they go to New Delhi, on Earth, where so much has changed and so much remains the same. They have only thirty days. What do they find on earth? Can they give up the chaos of worldly delights for the tedious comforts of heaven?

Life has been in the same routine for thousands of years in Heaven and Draupadi is bored. So when Krishna comes for his routinely visit, she manages to get his permission for a 30-days visit to the mortal world. How exciting!

From learning that the light bulb is not Krishna visiting them but mere source of light, cars are the modern chariots and mortals can even fly (in an aeroplane that is) - everything amuses them. A funny, chick-lit book.
