When the Night Bells Ring | 
pickMads and Waynoka are traveling East from California to New York in search of water and food. During their journey they stop in Nevada and stumble into the dark history of the area. I listened to this book on audio and really enjoyed how it told two stories simultaneously tying the current time to the past. I kept envisioning the movie The Descent as I listened.
