Pickpick

This book had a very interesting plot. A group of social influencers are gathered together for a mystery contest on a deserted island. Soon after arrival, things turn deadly for the contestants. I am fascinated by the whole social media culture so I really liked this. Although it was hard to believe that this contest could even exist, let alone go forward to the end. Great storytelling.

Mehso-so

I appreciate the originality of this book, it's very clever.

It takes a while to get used to the format though, which is unconventional.

The characters were flat and I'd have liked the author to have spent more time developing them.

The story was very fast-paced, dark and gripping.

If you're into psychological thrillers, you definitely need to give this one a try.

Thanks to NetGalley for providing me with this for an honest review.
