ENGLISH DESCRIPTION After El viaje (The Trip), acclaimed by both critics and readers, now we go along with La Volátil in an unforgettable exploration into learning how to be happy. "A brave and risky bet that is all worth it." --The Critical Eye "Few authors know how to give it the genuineness that she has in her writing, with the same ease as a page full of poetry." --Comics for everyone. "This is you, you don't know me yet, but I'm already there, with you." Thus begins this exciting book in which "the companion" will guide La Volátil through deserts, oceans, and caves, to peek into different episodes of her life that left an important mark on her road to become who she is. A journey through her recollections and memories sprinkled with love, humor, and tenderness, but also with pain, guilt, and fear, whose last stop could well be happiness.

Pickpick

Sweet graphic novel based on the Author‘s life. It takes you through her childhood, and dives into unpleasant, happy, and repressed memories. The illustrations were wonderful, and the color scheme was pretty and soft. I enjoyed all the 80‘s references being an ‘86 baby myself :)

Starting this graphic novel. My goal this year is to read more books in Spanish. This got a lot of praise, and is part of a series of graphic novels I believe are based on the author.
