Pickpick

This was a fascinating and thought-provoking book. I appreciated how the plot took place in the time leading up to WWII during the Great Depression, because of that it was unlike any other WWII historical fiction book I‘ve read. Don‘t overlook the historical note, it is beyond interesting. I want to learn so much more about the characters portrayed in the book. This is definitely a book I‘d recommend to all historical fiction fans.

Mehso-so

The story was a little slow paced. There were spots of suspense. For a Christian fiction story there were a lot of secular things going on. Overall, it was a pretty good story.
DISCLAIMER: There was a lot of drinking, smoking, inappropriate dressing, and using feminine wiles to get information from men.

I received this book from LibraryThing for my honest review.
