pickSo I bought this book thinking that it was a new collection of essays, but was disappointed to discover it‘s all of A Long Desire and The White Lantern together with only two new essays, Mesa Verde and Messages on a Sandstone Bluff. So I read these last two new (to me) essays about the exploration of the southwest US and will call this “read.” And I think I‘ll give this to someone who enjoys this kind of material since I already own most of it.
