Ukraine is a beautiful country full of rolling fields of sunflowers, wheat and soy. Of wooden churches built centuries ago. The history of Ukraine has almost constantly been controlled by one of her many occupiers; Poland, Nazi, Hungary, USSR… These past 30 years have been the longest span Ukraine has been free. This book, that I got during my visit (republished 2023), states Ukraine‘s fascinating history through her own eyes.
