I requested this book bc I was curious and ended up reading some super interesting essays and realizing that food writing is such a broad topic! I also Loved that a lot of these essays highlighted immigrants and their relationship to food. There was scandal, history, love, disgust, discovery, and so much more. I definitely want to read more of these!! Is the 2023 one out? It probably is right?!

Ps. The stories mention COVID quarantine times
