My first nonfiction book of 2024 is about working therapeutically with dreams in a non-analytical way. Koch uses the term "dreamsensing" rather than "dreamwork" to highlight her emphasis on the dreamer's 'felt-sense' of their own experience rather than an "expert's" cognitive interpretation, and the centring of the dreamer's own meaning-making of their dream images.
Magpiegem Ooh this person centered therapist has a new book on her huge TBR! Thank you 😊 11mo
Bookwomble @Magpiegem Every time I do CPD or read a book or journal, I'll add at least one more to my TBR pile of counselling books! I'm trying to actually read more of them! Validating to hear that I'm not alone 📚😄 11mo
Bookwomble @Magpiegem Not that I'm wanting to swell your TBR, but here's a link to the publisher's website. They discount slightly and don't charge for UK delivery, so you can avoid swelling Amazon's coffers 😄 https://www.pccs-books.co.uk/products/dreams-and-the-person-centered-approach-ch... 11mo
Magpiegem @Bookwomble ☺️ thank you. I guess one more book won‘t do any harm 😁 11mo
