The Heart of Frida: Frida Kahlo's Secret Letters and Drawings | Graeme Howard
Frida Kahlo wrote intimate letters to herself during the last four, sad years of her life (1950-54) and hid them in a small wooden chest that was secreted in her studio at the time of her death. These letters and 6 drawings are illustrated in this catalogue issued at the time of three very successful exhibitions of the Heart of Frida collection in Mexico, attended by 10,000 visitors, and is now exhibited in the owner's home by appointment only.
