#Korea Margaret Lee knew there was more to her grandfather than just being a prisoner back in Korea. Her grandmother had some information, but refused to talk about it ,too painful. Ultimately on Lees trips back to unravel the past it becomes clear her grandfather was a hero, active in the opposition to the Japanese occupation. I heard the author on NPR , the story sounded fascinating. Part memoir as Lee discovers much of herself thru her research.
