Accidents and Old Lace and Other Stories
Accidents and Old Lace and Other Stories | Al Feldstein, Graham Ingels
1 post
These stories, which "Ghastly" Graham Ingels drew while he was at the pinnacle of his powers, include tales such as "Accidents and Old Lace." Three sweet, little old ladies weave tapestries depicting the gruesome deaths of real people, but when an art dealer commits murder to get a tapestry of his own, he discovers just how closely art imitates ... death. In "Marriage Vow," a woman returns from the grave to fulfill her wifely duty to her murderous husband, until death does them ... together; and in "The Sliceman Cometh," an executioner during the French Revolution can't escape the severed head of an innocent man.

My husband has been wanting the Graham Ingles "Artist's Edition" from IDW for awhile. When he told me about it months ago, he casually added, "It's an oversized book". Cue my extreme shock on picking this thing up for his Christmas gift- where was I supposed to hide it?! Anyway, I managed to keep it under wraps through today, and here he is finally enjoying his prize. Oversized indeed! ?

willaful LOL! Be careful that doesn't eat him!

I ordered a garden decoration from my sister's wishlist that turned out to be enormous and her birthday isn't til March! I think I'm going to have to give it to her early, because I have no place to store it.
