pickCindy sent me this book. Forty stories about people who were attacked by Hamas on October 7 2023.
Some survived, some not or have been taken captive. Their stories are told by their family.
It‘s horrible what happened on that day, it‘s very hard to read. People dancing on a festival one minute and entering a nightmare the next one. The stories do feel a bit too propaganda for me though.⬇️

BarbaraBB I don‘t want to make this post political. I do have my opinions about Israeli politics these days. But these are true stories about what happened before all that. And it‘s awful and horrific. 3mo
GatheringBooks Great to read your thoughts on this, Barbara. I am only beginning to realize now even more how the personal is political. Actually, anything that involves power (and the imbalance of power - and oppression) - IS inevitably political. 😘✨ 3mo
