Pickpick

An interesting story and one that is enjoyable from start to finish. Set in 1869 England, corruption is the main theme along with a lot of killings and some romance. There is not many action packed or dramatic occurrences but the storyline filled with unexpected events and tension will keep the reader engrossed. Surprisingly, when the Police do become involved the officers are quite endearing and professional to a high degree. A worthwhile read.

Reading A Gentleman at Heart. It is the first time I've read anything by this author and the first time that I have tried a Red Zinfandel.
Enjoying both equally.
