He does it so well! This is why he is my favourite author along with Harlan Coben.
I just adore Lucas Davenport and Virgil Flowers 😍

I'm aging myself. While doing today's photo challenge microfiche made me laugh. I specifically recall using it for a report on Illinois in 7th grade. Anyone else ever use it? You can laugh at my expense 😀

Lindy When I started working in libraries in the 80s, we used microfiche and microfilm all the time. 8y
Theresa I had to use it for research in college, which was in the 80s. In the mid-2000s I worked in an office where we used it for old case files. I remember the lightbulb burned out on one of our two machines & it was really hard to find a replacement & when we did it was so expensive we opted not to replace it & just used the one that still had a functioning bulb. 8y
StephBengtson Yes! I had to to use it for a report in the 90s. Also, I worked a library from 2000 - 2005 and every so often , I would have to load up that machine. 8y

SaraFair It was so much better than the microfilm, that you had to reroll all the way back when you were done so it would fit in the box! 8y
Godmotherx5 @Lindy @Theresa @StephBengtson @SaraFair I'm so excited to see others know what I was referencing. 8y
LiteraryinPA Of course! I definitely remember using it to do research. 8y
SusanInTiburon I STILL use microfiche! Not as much as in my college days, but we have one database on it at work. I showed it to my kids one day, and they were all "?". 8y
SusanInTiburon @SaraFair I agree, fiche has some real advantages over film. 8y
Godmotherx5 @SusanInTiburon I wish I'd been there to see your kids' reaction. 8y
moranadatter Yep. I was sometimes sent to fetch it and load it when I worked at a library about a decade ago. 8y
